Interpretive Center Evaluation for Montana State Parks

Project Scope

Field to Frame worked with Montana State Parks to create and test evaluation tools for visitor center interpretive displays. This included site visits, staff evaluation and an online visitor survey. Results from the summer 2020 review were used to create a prioritization matrix that Montana State Parks can use to enhance accessibility, accuracy and overall interpretive effectiveness.

Project Objectives

  • Create and pilot evaluation tools to measure effectiveness of interpretive displays in Montana State Parks
  • Complete site visits for 8 key parks across the state and provide feedback using the Interpretive Exhibit Evaluation Form
  • Provide feedback for park improvement prioritization based on results
  • Provide tested and revised tools for future use by Montana State Parks staff and volunteers
