Montana Natural History Center Interpretive Plan

Project Scope

Field to Frame worked with the Montana Natural History Center to develop an interpretive plan to guide future exhibit development. Staff, volunteers, and board members worked with me to outline the interpretive goals of the organization, organize stories and information within a thematic hierarchy, and create a plan with implementation steps and fundraising goals.

Project Objectives

  • Create a thematic structure to guide exhibit planning for MNHC’s visitor center space
  • Identify and articulate the interpretive and management goals essential to guide interpretation
  • Provide a plan that can assist MNHC staff in implementing projects on their own, working with design contractors, and planning ahead for fundraising, budgeting, etc
