Bridge Dedication for Harriman State Park

Project Scope

The Friends of Harriman State Park had designed and planned their project but needed support in the fabrication of interpretive signs and bronze plaques. Their project included a custom mounting system to utilize historic bridge piers as an interpretive station and celebration of the multi-year effort to replace the historic bridge.

Project Objectives

  • Using existing panel designs, fabricate an interpretive panel that will hold up to intense winters and summer sun exposure.
  • Using existing design cues, create a bronze plaque to honor bridge donors and supporters.
  • Create a custom mounting solution to use the historic bridge pier as the interpretive centerpiece while also considering winter snow load.
  • Provide original artwork to use for project promotion and fundraising.
